ATLANTA -- The Brewers saved their swings for the game and earned another break from batting practice. Phillies Jerseys China . Mark Reynolds hit a first-inning grand slam, Kyle Lohse combined with Francisco Rodriguez on a five-hitter and Milwaukee ended a four-game losing streak by beating the Braves 6-1 Wednesday night. Carlos Gomez added a two-run homer in the fourth for Milwaukee, which skipped batting practice after being shut out 5-0 Tuesday night. Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said hell try the same formula again. "No BP at all," Roenicke said of his plan for Thursdays pregame. "I think they would like not doing it again. That works." Lohse (6-1) was sharp while going eight innings to win his sixth straight decision. He gave up one run on four hits with no walks and eight strikeouts. Lohses only loss of the season came against the Braves on April 1. The Brewers jumped on Ervin Santana (4-2) in the first inning. Gomez singled, Scooter Gennett doubled and Jonathan Lucroy took a one-out walk before Reynolds third career grand slam -- a line drive over the left-field wall. "It was big. Weve been struggling the past couple of games," Reynolds said. "Give Lohse some breathing room." Reynolds snapped a 0-for-12 streak with his ninth homer, pulling a slider from Santana over the left-field wall. Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez called the pitch "a cement-mixer slider." Reynolds said the homer "wasnt so much good for me as it was for the team." "Guys dont feel like they have to do so much with one swing," he said. The Braves scored their only run off Lohse in the first inning on back-to-back doubles by Freddie Freeman and Justin Upton, who had three hits. Lohse did not allow another baserunner to reach second base. Atlantas only other hits off Lohse were singles by Jason Heyward in the third and Upton in the seventh. "It seemed like he hit all the quadrants of the strike zone: in, up, down and away with all his pitches," Gonzalez said. "He mixed it well. He kept us off balance." Freeman said the Braves batters "were aggressive" but couldnt take advantage of opportunities. "He made a lot of mistakes, we just popped them all up, it seemed like," Freeman said. "We just didnt get it done tonight." Upton had a two-out single off Rodriguez in the ninth before Chris Johnsons third strikeout ended the game. The Brewers took advantage of Santanas two-out walk to Lohse in the fourth. Gomez followed with a high homer, his 10th, over the centre field wall. Gomez circled the bases without incident, avoiding a repeat of an ugly melee on Sept. 25, 2013. In that game, Gomez was slow to leave the batters box following a homer at Turner Field, and he exchanged words with Braves infielders as he circled the bases and then was blocked at home plate by former Atlanta catcher Brian McCann. That led to a brawl that emptied both dugouts. Santana allowed a season-high six runs on nine hits and four walks in seven innings. The Brewers two homers matched the total allowed by Santana in his first seven starts. The Braves have lost three of Santanas last four starts, and the last two have been ugly. The right-hander allowed five runs on 10 hits in five innings in a 5-2 loss at St. Louis on Friday. Santana, 3-1 with a 1.95 ERA in April, has seen his ERA climb to 3.42. He said poor location led to the first-inning struggles. NOTES: Roenicke said he doesnt think RHP Yovani Gallardo, who left Tuesday nights game after spraining his left ankle, will land on the DL. Roenicke said Gallardo must make dramatic improvement to avoid missing his next scheduled start on Sunday at Miami. "Its got to be a lot better tomorrow," Roenicke said. ... Braves C Evan Gattis missed his second straight game with viral symptoms, but was available off the bench. ... Lohse improved to 4-0 in six career starts at Turner Field. ... The four-game series ends Thursday night with Braves RHP Aaron Harang facing Brewers RHP Matt Garza. Wholesale Phillies Jerseys .The long-haired pivot, who joined the Alouettes midway through the CFL season and put up a 9-3 record as a starter, will be listed as the top quarterback in training camp next spring. With a full training camp under his belt, the Alouettes will see if he has what it takes to get them back to the Grey Cup game after a four-year absence. Fake Phillies Jerseys . Five years ago, Nestor and Zimonjic beat the American twins to win the title. But the Bryans, the worlds top-ranked team, needed 74 minutes to earn the victory Saturday as both Nestor and Zimonjic lost serve in the second set. https://www.cheapphilliesjerseys.us/ . Linemates Ryan Johansen and Boone Jenner each had a goal and an assist in the first period, and Sergei Bobrovsky made 36 saves to lead the Blue Jackets past the Florida Panthers 4-1 on Saturday night.PHILADELPHIA -- Domonic Brown and the Phillies had a rare power surge. Brown homered, doubled and drove in three runs to lead Philadelphia to a 9-5 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night. Grady Sizemore had three hits, including the 1,000th of his career, with a double and an RBI for the Phillies, who entered 12th in the NL in runs. They scored at least nine for the eighth time this season and improved to 10-0 when reaching eight runs. "Real good swings of the bats, extra-base hits, bases on balls," manager Ryne Sandberg said. "It was a good night on the offensive side for the whole lineup." Kyle Kendrick (5-10) allowed three runs and six hits in 5 2-3 innings. It was the first win for Kendrick in his eighth career start against the Diamondbacks, giving the right-hander a victory over every NL team. Alfredo Marte hit his first career homer, a grand slam, and Aaron Hill had three hits for Arizona. Wade Miley (6-7) struggled for the first time this month, giving up six runs -- five earned -- and eight hits in five innings. "I felt good. I just didnt have it tonight," Miley said. Sandberg benched slumping slugger Ryan Howard for the third straight day in favour of Darin Ruf, who went 1 for 2 with an RBI. "He swung the bat aggressively, had some good at-bats," Sandberg said. The manager was noncommittal on whether Howard would return to the lineup Saturday. Miley won his previous three outings while striking out 19 in 20 2-3 innings with a 1.74 ERA. But he was off from the jump against the Phillies, and the five earned runs were the second-most hes allowed in a start this season. "He wasnt very good," Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson said. "He didnt have a good feel with his pitches." The left-hander laboured through the first inning when Philadelphia sent eight batters to the plate while taking a 2-0 lead on a bases-loaded walk to Carlos Ruiz and Browns groundout. It was 3-0 after the second thanks to Chase Utleys RBI single, and Philadelphia tacked on two more in the third on Rufs sacrifice fly and Cody Asches RBI single. "The game kind of got away in the third inning," Miley said. "That was on me." The Phillies looked in complete control when Ruf doubled and scored in the fifth. Cheap Phillies Jerseys. But Sandberg elected to lift Kendrick with the bases loaded and two outs in the sixth, and it backfired. Marte cleared the wall in left, his first homer in 68 career at-bats, against left-hander Antonio Bastardo to make it 6-4. "I wasnt looking to hit a homer, (but) it was a really good feeling for me," Marte said through a translator. "Im really happy just to get the opportunity." Bastardo came back out for the seventh but was lifted after consecutive singles with none out. Justin De Fratus then struck out three batters, leaving the bases loaded when he fanned Mark Trumbo for the final out. "That was a game-saving moment right there," Sandberg said. Trumbo, Arizonas big off-season acquisition who has battled injuries and offensive struggles, yanked his helmet off and threw his bat down in disgust after swinging through a 93 mph fastball. Trumbo, who entered hitting .191, went 0 for 4 to extend his slump to 3 for 24. Brown gave Philadelphia some cushion in the seventh when his two-run shot to right off right-hander Evan Marshall made it 8-4. It was just the seventh homer of the season and second since June 14 for Brown, who hit 27 homers in an All-Star season in 2013 but has seen a huge drop in production this year. Hes batting .291 in his last six games, though, and Sandberg hopes the homer will help. "He looks more relaxed, and a good swing of the bat with the home run should really build some confidence with tonights game," Sandberg said. NOTES: It took 35 seconds for umpires to confirm that Tuffy Gosewisch was safe at first on an infield hit in the ninth inning. ... A female fan sitting 10 rows behind the Phillies dugout was hit in the head by a foul ball off the bat of Marte in the eighth inning. After treating her for several minutes, medical personnel lifted her to the concourse on a wheelchair. ... Among the features on Christmas night in July, Santa Claus danced with the Phillie Phanatic between innings on the field. ... Arizona dropped to 3-14 in its last 17 games at Philadelphia. ... The series continues Saturday night with Diamondbacks righty Josh Collmenter (8-5, 3.64 ERA) facing Phillies lefty Cliff Lee (4-5, 3.67). ' ' '
